Meet Mike Zuber, the proud owner of Watson Dental Lab. In 2004, Mike acquired the company from Bucky Watson. With over three decades of experience in the field, Mike’s dental career began in 1987 when he worked at a small dental supply company alongside his brother. In 1989, he joined Cermaco, now known as Dentistply, where he retired in 2003.

Throughout his career, Mike has built strong relationships and established a vast network of connections that continue to thrive in the industry today. His dedication to expanding Watson Dental Lab has been instrumental in the company’s exponential growth. Today, Watson stands as one of the largest labs in Texas, providing exceptional services to dental professionals nationwide.

In addition to his role at Watson, Mike is the founder and president of the CNC Group (cncgroup.org), the largest buying group for dental labs in the United States. Through his extensive network and longstanding relationships, Mike ensures that Watson remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving dental industry.

When he’s not working, Mike enjoys playing golf, spending quality time with his family, and spoiling his beloved grandkids.

Lora Zuber

Accounting & Human Resources Manager

Allow me to introduce you to Lora, an indispensable member of our team. Since acquiring the lab alongside her husband Mike in 2004, Lora has played a pivotal role in its success. Her unwavering dedication to the growth and happiness of our employees and customers has made her an invaluable asset.

Drawing on her extensive knowledge in accounting and human resources, Lora ensures the financial well-being of our company. Her expertise and attention to detail contribute to the smooth operation of our business.

Outside of work, Lora finds joy in spending quality time with her family and exploring different parts of the world through travel.

Chris Zuber

Vice President Of Sales

Chris is an integral part of the Watson team, having joined us in 2010. As the son of Lora and Mike, the proud owners of our esteemed dental lab, Chris has been immersed in the dental industry from a young age. He has witnessed firsthand the dedication and hard work that goes into running a successful business.

Starting his journey in the model room, Chris has worked diligently in various departments throughout the lab, gaining valuable experience along the way. His diverse background has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of our operations, making him a valuable asset in his current role in sales.

Chris’s passion for the growth and success of Watson runs deep. He is committed to building strong relationships and expanding our network. Recognizing the importance of personalized customer service in our close-knit industry, Chris goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care to his clients. He understands that building long-lasting relationships is key to our continued success.

When Chris isn’t working, he enjoys indulging in his love for smoking BBQ, attending sporting events, and spending time with his beloved dog Finn.

Kevin Ernst

Fixed & Implant Manager

Kevin joined the Watson team in 2017 and is the son-in-law of Lora and Mike. Kevin has been a driving force behind the lab’s success. Passionate about digital technology, Kevin is always on the lookout for cutting-edge advancements that can enhance the lab’s capabilities and deliver exceptional results to their clients. He believes that embracing the digital revolution is crucial in staying ahead in the dental industry, and he constantly strives to integrate the latest technologies into the lab’s workflow.

Kevin’s hobbies include playing an game of golf, spending time with his family, watching the Dallas Cowboys and  Houston Astros.

Rodney

Digital Manager

Rodney joined the Watson team in 2018. Rodney’s exceptional technical knowledge, coupled with his natural ability to communicate and connect with our clients, sets him apart in the industry. With Rodney at the helm of our digital endeavors, dental offices can trust that our lab remains on the forefront of digital dentistry, offering cutting-edge solutions tailored to dental offices specific needs.

Rodney’s hobbies include watching the chargers, padres, Lakers, playing sand volleyball and working out.

Andie

Removable Manger

Andy became a valuable member of the Watson team in 2004, joining shortly after Mike acquired the lab. As a fortunate hire straight out of tech school, Andy has been instrumental in the continued success of Watson. With years of experience under her belt, she has honed her craft in crafting a wide range of removable prosthetics, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Andy’s patient-focused approach and unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding results have earned her recognition in the industry and the trust and respect of our valued clients.

In her free time, Andy enjoys staying active through running, cherishing quality time with her family, and embarking on adventures with her beloved dogs.

Mandy

Office Manager

Mandy joined the Watson team in 2022 and quickly demonstrated her strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. Her dedication and commitment to excellence have led to her promotion as the office manager. In this role, Mandy ensures that our front office operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with her family, often engaging in friendly board game competitions.
